What do I need to bring to my first lesson?

When you first arrive at Birmingham Martial Arts of Trussville – all you need are some comfy athletic clothes and a water bottle. We’ve got the rest covered.

You might be nervous about your first class. That’s perfectly normal! As soon as you see how kind and welcome the instructors and other students are – that nervousness turns into excitement.

I’m not very athletic, will I feel left out?

No matter your fitness level, you can train here. In martial arts – adults are in a group environment, but every one of us is on our own unique journey. You can go at your own pace. Some advance faster, others slower. That’s okay.
